Mark and I were best friends in high school. He lived all the way out in Regent Square and I in Lincoln Place, but we made time to get together often outside of school.
Together and with the help of other good friends we started Dragonbreath, the school's literary magazine. Mark was a good writer and very creative.
I remember the day he became my friend. He came over to me and just started talking about this and that. I was a quiet kid and not very good at making friends. It actually took a few moments to realize that he was striking up a friendship, and it lasted throughout our high school years. Thanks, Mark. I still think of you often.
